Rosie Hines-Harris was born September 20, 1926. She was the first child born to Rev. T.R. Hines and Oria Knight-Hines. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Harris, her parents Rev. T.R. Hines and Ora Knight-Hines, her siblings, brother: Archie Hines; sisters: Lillie Alexander, Annie Dees, Julia Jones and Juanita.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Oria Bufford (Lee), Samuel Hines, George Hines, Georgia Hines-Cobbs, Theodore Hines Jr. (Dale), Vera Hines, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; her most devoted niece, Esther Brown, her goddaughter, Janice Randolph, and committed care givers Oria Buford (sister) and Sabrina Arrington (niece).
She was a faithful member of Franklin Street Baptist Church and the Port City United voices choir wherein both, music was her ministry. She was the owner and operator of Rosie Harris Day Care Center for many years.
