Juanita Carson Jackson, a native of Waynesboro, Mississippi and resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed this life on Sunday, February 7, 2021. She was born on March 30, 1936 to Ira Carson and Floria Jackson who preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, David Perryman; brothers Albert Sterling, Arlee Sterling, Charles Sterling and John Sterling; sisters, Annie Wright, Patricia McClain and Barbara Arnold.
She was a member of Holmes Street Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Thomas J. Hatcher. She was employed with Doctor’s Hospital (now USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital) for over 30 years.
She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted daughter Carolyn Jackson; devoted grandchildren, Carey Carson, Sr., Christopher Dressel, Sr., Clint Deaux, Takeria Findley; devoted great-grandson, Carey Carson, Jr., Christopher Dressel, Jr.; one sister, Lutricia Heade; two brothers, Edward Sterling and Donald Sterling; sisters-in-law, Belinda Sterling and Gloria Sterling and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
