Brian Clausell Obituary

Life and Legacy of Brian “B” Clausell

Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generation.  Psalm 90:1

Brian Kennedy “B” Clausell was born the only child to Amos Moore of New York, New York and to the late Annie Bettis Clausell of Mobile, Alabama on November 21, 1963.

He lived most of his educational years in Mobile, Alabama, where he graduated from Williamson High School.  During his youthful years Brian was known for his athleticism in basketball as being known for his special jumping and dribbling abilities on the court.  Also, Brian was well known for his skills in martial arts.  In 1981 he was accepted in the Job Corps Community in Atlanta, Georgia where he studied brick masonry.  Upon returning to Mobile, he was employed with the S&S Sprinkler Company of Mobile for over 10 years. During his tenure in Mobile, Alabama, Brian along with his devoted wife Faye thought it wise to renew their membership at the Big Star Church of God in Christ in Mobile, Alabama where the Right Reverend Herdis Watkins serves as Pastor and Teacher.  For over 20 years Brian along with his wife Faye made it their business to be responsible for the complete catering process in the preparation for any, and all meals for their local church.  Brian just had a special love for his church family.

The Legacy of Brother Clausell ended Wednesday December 2, 2020 at University Hospital in Mobile, Alabama.  He was preceded in death by his mother Annie Bettis.   He leaves to cherish his legacy: devoted wife of 39 years, Avis Faye Clausell; one son, Michael Green and two daughters, Shamika green and Mary Green, all of Mobile, Alabama; thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of Mobile, Alabama; a devoted mother-in-law, better known as the family’s “Saintly Mother and Prayer Warrior”, Mother Mary L. Green of Mobile, Alabama; two sisters-in-law, Frances Williams of Mobile, Alabama and Karren Blanks of Clinton, Michigan; three brothers-in-law, Harold (Vernell) Green, Charlie Green, and Joe (Pauline) Green, all of Mobile, Alabama; a devoted friend, Clarence W. Target, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, church families, and many others.  Brian will definitely be missed by all who knew him.   Now these are the generations of the dearly departed Husband Brian Kennedy Clausell.
